Project Description This project envisages setting up of a refined sugar manufacturing. At present, considerable quantity of refined sugar is imported in Jordan and the Middle East to meet the requirements of food processing and pharmaceutical industry. This project offers excellent opportunity to the existing sugar companies in Jordan for value added processing through modern technology. This sugar refinery project is similar to the totally approved model of Refinadora Catarinense S. A., in Brazil, that for over twenty years produced the "Portobello Sugar", one of the best sugars ever in the world (see photos and curriculum on the folder). It's still a reference for products and services, due to high sugar technology, which provides high levels of productivity, skilled labor, experience in logistics and continuous search for innovation. The capacity and the cost: 5,000 mt/day (100,000 bags of 50 kg) or 1,500,000 mt/year of white refined sugar, ICUMSA 45, with Brazilian raw sugar (VHP), with average colour 800 ICUMSA.
